| Helen's Bed and Breakfast In town on Route 201 165 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine call 207-474-0066 About Helen's // Room One This charming 170 year old brick victorian has been converted into a beautiful Bed and Breakfast for your stay. Helen's has been offering quaint rooms, a delicious full breakfast, and warm friendly service for over 10 years. We offer 4 spacious, air conditioned private rooms all with full baths and New England charm. The following pictures give you a glimse of our home.We invite you to visit us in person to capture the escense of the whole inn. Back to top of page Room One is a warm,lovely space located on the second floor of our Home. The room is filled with beautiful antiques, handmade braided rugs, and romantic Priscilla curtains. It has a queen sized bed and a private bath. Room Two is a beautiful, sunny room with tones of blue and brown. It has a queen sized bed, braided rugs, and antique lamps, to make it a quaint place to spend time.It also has a private bathroom,television, and air conditioning. Room Three is the only room in the Inn with two beds, one double and one single. It offers a private back stairway and a private bath with a clawfoot tub that has been converted to also offer a shower. These pictures are of Room Four. It is our only room on the first floor of the home. It affords much sun, has a large private bath with fireplace, and a comfortable queen sized bed. Our rates vary between $65 and $95 per night. Please call or write us for availability. Our Inn is full of Handmade Braided Wool Rugs, made by Helen herself. They are on display in each room, and are for sale in the dining area. For your enjoyment we share with you our large lawn, deck, picnic area and gas grill. Skowhegan is located in the beautiful Kennebec Moose River Valley region of central Maine.
The mighty Kennebec winds its way through the center of town,where 2 historic walking bridges span the river. ![]() To learn more about our town please visit... Town of SkowheganOur town offers activities such as antiquing, boating, fishing, golfing, and local theater. Lakewood theater is located a few miles north of town and offers fine entertainment.
